Many earbud makers offer buds with at least 3 different sizes to fit different ears. V-Moda is the type I use. You probably want the kind that fit into the ear channel itself rather than the types of buds that came with your iPod. Those barely hang onto the exterior ear opening. I don't find those comfortable at all.

I have an older shuffle that I only use when I'm on a flight etc.
The earbuds that came with the shuffle will not fit in my ear. I
guess my ear opening is too small (I'm not). I hate wearing a
headset. Is there as brand of ear buds that is either adjustable or
has multiple ear pieces of different sizes?
