I am leaning towards Yahoo..

A similar occurance was brought up yesterday on a HTC Hero forum after a 2.1
upgrade. It was chalked up to a upgrade problem but maybe not.

Sounds identical to the problem he had and your having it on the iPhone.

Is anyone besides me having problems with Yahoo mail?

I'm trying to decide if it's my iPhone or if the problem exists with
Yahoo....

I'll delete a message, and empty the trash. Days later the message shows up
as unread in my inbox.

I also have trouble downloading the new messages. Often, when I delete a
message I've read, I get a message that says the message cannot be moved to
trash, and it remains in the inbox. If I close and reopen my email, I can
delete it.

My other email address works fine, but it's not web based, so I can't really
use that for a comparison.

If anyone else is having similar issues, then I'll blame Yahoo. Otherwise,
I'll have to do a full restore of my iPhone - something I hope to avoid.
