The Reader

The alerts are Push. I also turned off WiFi and all the screens work. The
app has many alerts to chose from. There is no need for me to have things
like volcano or earthquake turned on so I trimmed the alerts down to just
the ones that interest me.

Some of the folks in the group were talking about a while back and had
bought it for $2.99. I thought $.99 was a good price so I got it.

I have been a weather watcher for years. I don't like for things to sneak up
on me.

As a side note, I was showing off the iPhone the other day at the coffee
shop. I had another weather alert app on the phone and almost on cue, it
went off. I passed the phone around and let all the guys read the alert.
Needless to say, they were impressed.
