Although some media, say videos, podcasts, etc, one has to change some Get Info stuffs because they would be by default either Movie or Music and they will fall under such categories if you just cut and paste.

There is a software that does all those stuff without the need to manually edit stuffs:

copytrans.net

But the free version only does the job for 250 or so files. )=

you really do not need software, just copy the files to a flash drive, cd, or dvd and move them to the new computer. Everything should be in your music - itunes folder
