WHY TO CANCEL OLD TAN JUST NOW? APPLY NEW TAN FOR NEW ADDRESS. GO FOR CANCELLATION AFTER TWO/THREE YEARS. INTERESTINGLY, NO TDS RETURN IS REQUIRED TO BE FILED, IN CASE OF NO TRANSACTION.

| CHANGE OF PLACE OF BUSINESS - POSITION OF TAN If an assessee changed his place of business from One IT Jurisdiction to other IT jurisdiction there is procedure for PAN migration by filing PAN rectification form, what will happen to TDS account No. in such case of change of place of business, we have applied to NSDL franchisee, they told that there is no such procedure for TAN migration but you will have to cancell the old TAN and Apply New TAN with new address, if it is so, what will happen to TDS certificates issued on old TAN No. please give your openion CA.
