You should make sure you buy a charger that is recommended for the iPhone or an iPod. Generic ones can ruin your battery.
I would recommend the Belkin Dual Auto Charger.

You can charge two USB devices at one time. There is a 'fast charge' port for your iPhone and it really does recharge your phone fast and SAFELY
