Re: [apple-iphone] Restoring iPhone
Louise, how do you sync your contacts, etc now? Via Google or are they
stored on your computer in Outlook or iCal/Address Book, etc?
I would suggest syncing to Google (or even the MobileMe free trial) to sync
your contacts, calendars, etc.
As far as restoring, you don't want to restore from your backup - evidently
you have a problem so restoring from what you have the problem with will
likely just bring the problem back - you want to restore as a NEW device.
Plug in iPhone, skip the backup then click "Restore" on the right hand side
underneath Upgrade and it will Restore your phone to factory condition - you
can then either sync your contacts back from your computer (if stored
locally in Outlook/iCal/
/ MMe) and download them from the "cloud"
