The date of marriage is the date of creation of HUF. As per a Supreme Court Judgement husband and wife constitute a family. Therefore, the date of marriage is taken as creation or starting of a family i.e. Hindu Undivided Family. For a family to be called as HUF, even the birth of first child is not necessary.

no sir. with due respect i think the date of marraige is not the date of creation of huf but it should be the date of birth of first male child which should be written on the pan application.

If your client is married one, then date of marriage is deemed to be date of creation of HUF.
 
Your client can apply for PAN  sdtating date of creation is marriage date.
 
His HUF will get PAN
