Sir,

First Apply the New TAN number and then

After getting the new Tan Number apply for the Correction and surrender the Old TAN number

Whole of the Data is transferred to the New TAN and you can issue TDS certificates on New Tan As well afterwards.

If an assessee changed his place of business from One IT Jurisdiction to other IT jurisdiction there is procedure for PAN migration by filing PAN rectification form,
 
what will happen to TDS account No. in such case of change of place of business, we have applied to NSDL franchisee, they told that there is no such procedure for TAN migration but you will have to cancell the old TAN and Apply New TAN with new address, if it is so, what will happen to TDS certificates issued on old TAN No.
