Thanks.. That did the trick! I had been holding down the home button then while still holding pressing the lock button... Seems the 'hold' was my problem. :)

Kind of hard to describe but you have to do it quick, 1-2 kind of thing. Don't belabor holding down either button.

Hi everyone!
I'm new to the iPhone world....just got a 3GS last week...stumbled upon the 'hidden' screenshot feature while searching on the internet. I have tried several times to hold down the home button then hitting the lock button on the upper right....nothing happens other than the phone locks...no photo in my camera roll. Any insight?
