I use the Elago light weight cases and think they are the lightest, slimmest option available and have had very good luck with them. And, besides, your Apple logo shows through, making it stylish as well.

I use an Incipio Feather which is the next thing to having no case. I only
use it because my 3G is so slippery otherwise I think I would drop it. The
Feather is easier to grip.
