[apple-iphone] vCard

I thought the iPhone would allow receiving of vCards in .vcf format via email, and also that by tapping on the .vcf attachment you could easily add this to your phone's contacts. ???

I emailed a vCard from Outlook 2007 (tried various formats) to my iPhone. The attachment shown on the "sent" message in Outlook as a .vcf file (correct). However, it shows on my iPhone's email as "winmail.dat", and can't be opened.

Am I missing something?
