I have used a rubbery case on occasion but also have found them to feel rather bulky to get in and out of the pocket. But I do use the full-body Invisible Shield which I have been very pleased with. It protects against nicks and scratches, but I also like that it has a grippy feel as opposed to the slickness of the naked phone. It's also easy to clean of fingerprints and smudges.
