Thanks Bill,

I might have to try this, but what will I lose with a complete restore.

Things that concern me.
1) Wifi codes for various hot spots I have collected over time. Will I lose
them / need to re-enter thise that I know?
2) databases for some apps that don't sync to anything. eg preferences for
apps. high scores for games etc. Are these lost?
3) Will I need to set up email accounts again or are these settings
preserved somewhere
