The Reader

It's been three or four days since I first noticed that the left and right (more intensely on the right) edges of my iPhone are somewhat purple or reddish in color. Reminiscent of the old tube TVs that gets discolored when subjected to some shock or magnetic stuff.
I was hoping it will get back to normal and thought it may be just caused by the heat it produces when being used.

To my dismay, it's still there.

It's annoying when you read e-mails or documents or e-books and you get to see the edges, especially the upper right area, discolored, somewhat reddish. It's not obvious on a dark background like the Home Screen but it's noticeable with white background like when reading emails.

Is it just me or does anyone else experience this?

Or are all iPhones really like this but I only noticed it now?
