Now let me ask. If you have the app does that mean it no longer works? Or can't be used if it's discontinued through the app store?

No longer available as of 4:55 EDT. Hmph. No surprise. Doesn't this fall under anti-trust considerations? Is Apple really permitted to enforce a monopolistic hold on its users this way? What was the outcome (if any as yet) on that FCC investigation into Apple's/AT&T's practices?

Truthfully, as I look at Sprint's new 4G phone, with its 8MP camera (with flash), front facing secondary 1.3MP camera for video chat, multitasking, Android OS coming out this summer, I wonder how much longer I might wish to be subject to Mr. Jobs and his vagaries. Apple's coercive business practices have been putting me off for a while now.
