There was someone on list who posted an EXCELLENT blog on how to use the
Home Sharing feature to do exactly what you need, can the person who posted
that please post the link again?

Basically you need to open iTunes on his MBP, log into your shared iTunes
account, Authorize that computer, plug in his iPhone right/second click on
it and "Transfer Purhcases" from the iPhone to the new copy of iTunes. You
also need to enable Home sharing in iTunes (on both machines) then click on
the machine you have been using under the Shared Libraries, then you can
select everything and drag it to the local (new) library and it will copy
all the music, podcasts, apps, etc and then set up what you want to sync to
that phone - this is the easiest way (instead of sorting out what to copy
etc).

As far as calendars, etc you would probably need to do some manipulating in
iCal if you have been sharing a MMe account.
