Rich, for what it's worth while many thing that the iPad is a just a "large
iPod" it really isn't - true they both use iTunes and AT&T but all of the
core apps are completely different as well as the data plan settings, etc.
For example you can't add the 3G iPad to your AT&T account, it is completely
separate and completely pre-paid - on the iPad you buy a month of either the
limited (250MB) or the unlimited data, using a CC and it expires at 30 days
or you can set it to auto-charge each 30 days.

The Mail application can open multiple messages at the same time, etc so
while some discussion might be appropriate (the way we ask simple
Mac/iMac/MBP/OSX questions) for the most part the iPad is it's own category
(as Steve/Apple have said a new line of products) so for detailed
discussions, etc would be confusing to those who are used to iPhone/iPod
settings/usage.
