That isn't true.
Calls come through even if I surf the net.
Should be Vodafone's (India) problem.

Subject: [apple-iphone] Data over voice

Hi,
I have iPhone 3G, my service provider is Vodafone India. Ever since I bought
the iPhone, I have noticed that when I am surfing or using data, the voice
calls do not come through. The callers get a busy tone or get a recorded
message "The user is out of coverage area".
I called Vodafone and they said that is because iPhone does not allow voice
precedence over voice. And it can not be corrected by them.
Is that true? In that case, I can not use the iPhone as a reliable phone;
may be as a toy but not as a business phone.
In that case, I would rather buy a Blackberry for me.

Sent from my iPhone 3G
