AH HA....you are da man:) Thank you SO much! I knew I must be doing something wrong somewhere (and I was:). At first I thought it was T-mobile because my daughter could never get a pic from me (gave her some BS link instead). But today my step-daughter (who also has an iPhone) wanted 2 pics & we had trouble after the first pic sent. Then I KNEW it wasn't T-mobile, she is on AT&T as well.
Anyways, now I know.....TY so much!

No you don't - in Photos, tap the box with the curved arrow in the
lower left corner tap up to 5 (for MMS) then tap Share and tap MMS.
If you want/need to send more than 5 or want to e-mail etc, tap the
box/arrow tap as many as you want (within reason) and tap Copy then
press home, then Messages app, then in the body of the message single
tap then tap paste.
