Re: [apple-iphone] Mobile Me for Photos?

After a month, I doubt if you could return it, so from that point of view alone, you might as well activate it.
> I bought it thinking that it would, but after reading about some of the problems people have had in this group with it, I have been undecided.
You don't hear the silent majority that have no problems with it at all; you hear the vocal minority that does.
> What I'm wondering is whether I should go ahead and activate it because I have tons of photos that I would like to be able to access from anywhere. I have photos on two different external hard drives and thought it would be nice if they were all in one place. Does Mobile Me make it easier to sync them to your iPhone and can you point the sync to Mobile Me when syncing your iPhone? I guess I just need know if I would really be streamlining things for myself if I started using it.
Photos are the least of my reasons for loving MobileMe. Synchronizing the contacts, addresses, and browser bookmarks on a computer and 2 iPhones is worth it. Being able to locate iPhones could easily pay for the service by itself.
