I know that no one has a crystal ball, but I'm hoping that some of you can share some opinions. I've been thinking about buying an iPhone 3GS for quite a while, and I finally have the go-ahead from the DH. I know that Apple tends to come out with new phones in May. Do the older phones tend to drop a lot in price when the new models come out? (I don't need the newest model - though it would be nice). And do they tend to change phone plans when the new phones are announced? My concerns are buying a phone now and the price dropping by a hundred bucks in a few months, OR waiting and having the data plans/expectations going up. Again, I know that no one knows for sure what Apple has planned, but I also know that they tend to do similar things with new releases. I wasn't interested in the iPhones in the past, and didn't really pay attention to what was going on before. Thanks for any opinions you're willing to share!
