[apple-iphone] Apples to Apples

IPod Touch and iPhone are very similar devices. However, their similarities vary depending on an individual's needs and preferences. I had a Touch and a Smartphone and hated not having a constant wifi connection for my Touch. My iPhone has made all the difference in the world to me and is well worth the cost of roughly $75 per line, for my 3 line family plan.

I have Internet access everywhere and can communicate via phone, email, text , instant messaging and social networking in real time. Not important for some, but it works for me. I use the Navigation app in my car while listening to my iPod and I love how the music fades just a tad as the audible navigation directions are given. I enjoy listening to Internet radio from my iPhone through my car speakers. I have less songs taking up space on my phone but a much bigger music selection with Pandora, I HeartRadio, or Slacker running. I also love and often use my Craigsist app to find collectibles across multiple locations and immediately reach out the seller via phone or email to seal the deal.

Sad to say, my iPhone has kept me much more connected but it's also made me much more productive. I wouldn't trade it for anything and neither would my info-junkie children :)
