If you sync to iPhoto or similar you can see the info in the details, look
at "Places" - photos others have taken and sent me from all around the world
show up all over a map. On the iPhone the Camera App asks every time if you
want to allow location services or not - you can also disable in settings.
On other phones you generally have to go ot the settings to turn it off or
on.
