In all seriousness - If ATT is the provider again, I just don't see them making any money with an unlimited plan. They already canned the unlimited plans for iPhones and iPads - and video is a very high bandwidth application. If they offer something with a tiny screen and yet another $15 / $25 data plan, I'll pass - overage fees will be ferocious for even limited viewing.

And TV / movies on a small screen? I have to laugh whenever I see that competitor's ad for a smart phone pre-loaded with Avatar. Avatar looks anemic on a 42 inch TV playing a DVD, and even a 55 inch set with blu-ray barely does it justice. On a 2 1/2 inch screen? Get real - nobody will watch for over a few minutes. You just couldn't see what is going on. So it will be with iTV - too small of a screen. I have episodes of TV shows where my daughter has appeared loaded on my iPhone. I never watch, even though I have a family member on the show. The screen is just too small for video. If I don't know somebody on the show, I'll have even less motivation.

I'm afraid that no device from Apple can improve the quality of the programming. What few shows are actually watchable by families are the live action shows on Disney and Nickelodeon. Most of the broadcast and other cable networks = video sewage I don't want in my home and I sure won't pay for on an iTV.
