Ordered 3 new iPhones Monday and just got word that they are at the AT&T
store waiting to be picked up. One question though. The store rep says
that I have to let them activate them in the store. When I got my original
iPhone 2G they said that I had to take it home and activate it via iTunes.
Normally I wouldn't care but my daughter is already at school and her phone
will go dead if I let them activate her new one here. I know she still has
911 but that's not at the top of her priority list if you know what I mean.
Can anyone confirm if this is the current policy? I asked them what if I
bought them at the Apple Store and they said that the Apple Store would
activate them there... Sounds like bs to me. Thanks
