[apple-iphone] Problems with a 3G running IOS4
My iPhone 3G was having real delay issues when opening a new application running IOS4. I have found a simple solution.
There is an article on the internet that says you should do two long resets after doing the upgrade. You hold the home button and the power button down until you have seen the Apple logo twice. You then let it come up and things are much better.
It affected Notes to the point that I could easily type ahead of the display. It now is much faster. It is still an old slow 3G but it went from being annoying to quite usable.
