You can 'de-authorize all' in iTunes once you've reached those five and then re-authorize the one(s) you want to again.

FWIW you can only do this once per year unless you contact iTunes support
and explain why you need to deauthorize all machines again - I have had to
do this twice....

I agree. I doubt that anyone can reliably estimate usage. If you're
concerned, check it daily for a few days to get an idea. After that you can
decide whether it needs checking at all, or perhaps weekly if you might get
close to your monthly limit. It's worth considering how much you really need
that usage there and then when you can use wifi for free in many places
(such as at home!).

Pogue's Review – AT&T Hotspot/iOS 4.3 on Feb 13th?

http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/9To5Mac-MacAllDay/~3/rzAdBaZo5cI/pogues-review-att-hotspot-on-feb-13th

Sent to you by Bill Boulware via Google Reader: Pogue's Review – AT&T
Hotspot/iOS 4.3 on Feb 13th? via 9 to 5 Mac by Seth Weintraub on 2/2/11

The NYTimes' David Pogue did a nice review of the Verizon iPhone
replete with all of the typical observations: Doesn't drop calls, can't
talk/data at same time, etc.

Here's where it gets mildly interesting. The initial review had the
following passage (we recieved like 5 different tips with the info
below cut/paste –thanks tipsters!):

The single new feature in Verizon's iPhone is Personal Hotspot, where
the iPhone becomes a Wi-Fi base station. Up to five laptops, iPod
Touches or other gadgets can get online, using the phone as a glorified
Internet antenna.
That's incredibly convenient. Many other app phones have it — AT&T's
iPhone gets it on Feb. 13 — but Apple's execution is especially nice.
For example, the hot spot shuts itself off 90 seconds after the last
laptop disconnects. That's hugely important, because these personal hot
spot features are merciless battery drains.

Feb 13th is a Sunday so that seems like a weird date but very strange
that Pogue popped that in there, so specifically. But it is also the
date that AT&T is upping bandwidth and doling out hotspots on Android
devices.

A few minutes later that was changed to "Soon". If AT&T gets hotspot,
it will be on iOS 4.3 which means that that update is coming as well.

Computerworld also has a post titled AT&T to offer Wi-Fi tethering for
iPhone but in the article AT&T says "We are working on bringing it to
the iPhone, [But we have] nothing else to share at this time."

Correct the hot spot feature for AT&T requires the 2GB data plan ($25) and
then an additional $20 for the hot spot feature with 2GB of data so $45 for
4GB total vs $30 unlimited without hot spot/tethering.

I don't have iPhone to iPhone comparison but running the same speed test in
the same place on my VZW Android and my AT&T iPhone - AT&T speeds are much
faster.

No one has mentioned (or noticed?) that store.apple.com no longer is selling
the 3GS only options are iPhone 4 16 or 32 on AT&T or Verizon (4 models
total, 2 on each carrier)

camera 3gs

for whatever reason, when I tap on the camera, it will open then close. The iris will sometimes open so I can see objects but immediately closes.

I had a couple of bar code apps and they still work. Thinking of a conflict, I deleted them but the camera still does not work properly.

One other thing I have notice lately is other apps have been closing too right after opening. I thought it was just they were geared more to the 4g phone but now I am wondering.

Any suggestion - Thanks.

Have you tried a hard reboot? Hold power button and home button down until apple logo appears ( do not use slider to turn power off when it appears). This will reset the phone but not any of your personal settings.

I had a similar problem. Rebooting helped.

update - I tried rebooting, I tried a hard reboot and finally said heck with it. In iTunes I just reset it then reinstalled the last backup. It now works. Thanks for the replies.
