Hi.
Got that same problem last year.
Yeah, if you don't have a backup, you have to download all those apps again.
You won't be paying anymore anyway.

Subject: [apple-iphone] regaining all apps

I was running into some problems on my computer (Vista) that forced me to do a restore to factory settings. I went ahead and upgraded to Win7 while I was at it. After installing iTunes and hooking my iPhone to it, there are no apps listed in the app tab (not a completely unexpected development) . But when clicking the sync button it tells me all apps and data on my phone will be replaced with those on the iTunes library. Since there are none in the library and about 75 on my phone, I obviously don't wish to do that. Also, I had about 180 in my library before. i guess my questions are 1) how can I sync without losing all that's on my phone now and 2) how can I get the others back? Am I looking at having to re-downloading everything?

Thanks for any ideas.
