Re: [apple-iphone] Re: solar charger | was: this is interesting
Shawn,
Ken just informed me that he was going to buy a battery tender this year. We live in Michigan and we store his Harley at the dealership. It's $189 a year to store it, he says he's storing at home this year. But he also informed me that we have a cigarette lighter outlet on the bike as well. Hmm. You learn something new everyday. I don't know all the extra stuff on it, I just ride and eat bugs (I do drive it too though). We have a Harley Ultra Classic Electra Glide
I wonder, would you have to have a "special" charger for the motorcyle or would it be the same as what you use in your personal vehicle?

>Leslie, I just purchased over the net a cigaret lighter outlet that plugs into my battery tender that I have on both of my bikes. That would solve your charging needs if you are out on the road.

My husband and I ride a motorcycle and on long rides I have always been concerned what happens if we are in the boonies and our phone battery died (this was pre-iPhone days). But still, for someone riding a motorcycle you don't have a lot of battery charging options available :-) I mean where is the cigarette lighter? (Or do we have one?) Heck I dunno, maybe we do. Ken?
